Unique Learning Vacations
The CNSC offers programs on birding, arctic wildlife, winter survival, beluga whales, wildflowers (botany), northern lights & astronomy and, of course, polar bears. Some learning vacations are offered by the Centre and are open to anyone of any age, while others are organized by Exploritas and accessible to those 55+. All meals, airport/train shuttle, local tours, wildlife viewing opportunities and presentations are included in the course price. Stay at the Churchill Northern Studies Centre, an active research facility located 23 km outside of town where the northern reach of the boreal forest meets the southern extent of arctic tundra. Interact with scientists working on a wide variety of projects.
